We, the First Nations of:
Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation Hereby agree to work together and support each Member nation: To promote a dynamic and Thriving Nationhood within our traditional territories. To promote and protect our Treaty Rights and Freedoms within our traditional territories. To promote and protect our origins, territories, culture, customs, history, and languages, as distinct nations. To promote and protect the integrity of our relationship with Mother Earth , the land, water, ice, air, and resources. To promote and protect the international status of Treaty 8, 1899. To promote and protect the general well being of our people by providing programs, services, and opportunities. To support each other politically, and to respect each First Nation’s autonomy, and diversity.
