Post Secondary Education
Post Secondary Program
The post-secondary student support program provides support to ATC First Nations individuals in gaining access to post-secondary education and in graduating with qualifications and skills needed to pursue individual careers. In the long term, this program contributes to the development of First Nations self-governance and economic self-reliance. In this program financial support is provided to eligible members toward the cost of post-secondary education. The coordinator receives applications, liaises with post-secondary institutions, government and member First Nations. As well, the program coordinator assists students in basic personal, career and academic counseling. The Education Coordinator administers this program and the ATC Boarding Home Program.
